La Caverne Créative is one of the first Creative Reuse Centers open to the general public in Quebec, offering Montreal a space where creativity, sustainability and community intersect.

Our mission

At La Caverne Créative , we believe that everyone deserves a place to slow down, explore their creativity, and create freely without pressure.

Our mission is to offer a warm and inspiring space that makes creation more accessible through creative experiences, a studio open to all, workshops, and repurposed art materials.

By giving a second life to thousands of materials from individuals and businesses, we reduce waste while demonstrating that creativity can be accessible, sustainable and inclusive.

Our values

💛 Accessible to all 💛

Creativity isn't just for artists. We want to offer a welcoming space where everyone feels free to try, learn, and create at their own pace.

🤝 A welcoming community 🤝

We want to build a place where people can meet, learn from each other and share their passion for creation in a supportive environment.

🎨 Creativity without
performance 🎨

Creating doesn't have to be perfect. We believe that creativity is first and foremost a way to express oneself, to explore, to slow down and to enjoy the process.

🌱 Create with what already exists 🌱

We give a second life to artistic materials in order to reduce waste, make creation more accessible and demonstrate that existing resources still have immense potential.

Our vision

We dream of a world where creativity is a natural part of everyday life.

We want to make La Caverne Créative a go-to place where people come not only to create, but also to slow down, discover, learn, share, and be inspired. A space where everyone, regardless of their experience level, feels free to experiment, develop their creativity, and leave proud of what they have created.

We believe that by making creation more accessible and by valuing existing materials, it is possible to build a more creative, more engaged and more sustainable community.

Rent a machine

Add the usage of one or multiple of our machines to your studio access and open new possibilities for your projects!

using the machines

Expand the possibilities for your project with our creative machines! Whether you want to sew a garment, use a Cricut cutter, laminate, or bind a notebook, our equipment is available for on-site rental.

Access to the machines is an add-on to the Creative Space and requires studio access (by the hour, half-day, or full day). The machines can be used on an à la carte basis or with the Machine Pass.

À la carte

Ideal if you only need one or two machines.

• Pay only for the time actually used.

• Switch between different machines as needed.

• Time can be distributed freely throughout the day.

• Only one machine may be used at a time.

• Members benefit from a reduced rate.

Machine pass 25$

The "Machine Pass" is ideal if you plan to use multiple pieces of equipment during your creative session. For $25, you get 3 hours of machine time to allocate however you like among all available machines. The time does not have to be consecutive: you can use the laminator for a few minutes, switch to the sewing machine for 2 hours, and then finish up with the heat press later in the day. You can switch machines as often as needed, provided you use only one at a time. Once the included 3 hours are used up, any additional time is simply billed at the regular hourly rate for the specific machine.
